When you choose to volunteer with the Association ( AWVA), you can expect rewards. The clients we serve, are our sisters, brother, parents, grandparents, neighbors and friends.
We have been doing this work for years, and you will not believe the gratitude that has been expressed to us, and Now to you..
Professionals, or trhose who are "just willing to help", we match you with a team, and together, We get things done!

VOLUNTEERING
When you donate to AWVA, you will see your donation go to work, directly in your community, We update daily and will be happy to include you on our update list, Or Follow us on Facewbook, and Twitter.
Better , Yet, come to any of our Association meetings and Join us, Have a voice, at the meeting, and Let us know how we are doing.
We accept donations via: Cash ( at Location or inperson Only please), Check, Credit Card, EChecks, Paypal, WePay, over over the phone.
We also need: Building Materials, Home Improvments, Lighting and Fixtures, Furniture, and smaller hosehold items, and appliances. Other items we accept for Resale to the public, where we raise direct funds, or Giving Back Conginment Funding % are: Antiques, Collectibles, Collections, Outdoor furniture and garden Items, Glassware, Pottery, Art, ... Just about anything that can be used or sold.
We also will pick up scrap metal for recycling and salvage.
We do issue a Tax Deduction receipt, to you.
** On occassion certain items are given directly to qualified clients for usage! ( baby Items, Assistive device ( canes walkers, mobility carts/scooters..)
DONORS
We are always open to accepting students, or professionals, to complete a practicum, or IN-Field Training with us.
This can also include: Boy/ Girl Scouts, Sport teams, Student groups....
